AWSA is pleased to premier tours in the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Grand Staircase was originally a 1.8 million acre National Monument, designated by President Clinton in 1996. The monument hosts many wondrous and lesser-known destinations: caves, toadstools, arches, slot canyons, rivers, and so much more. It was the last area of the lower 48 states to be cartographed, and when people started poking around, they realized it was a treasure trove of ancient and modern science and culture.
You don't have to go alone to seek out these hidden gems. AWSA tours offers several Grand Staircase options: Willis Creek, Cottonwood Canyon, Skutumpah, Paria Townsite (with the Rainbow Mountain), and The Toadstools. Take your pick, or ask our Guide's about their favorite choice.
